Intensive In-Home Services (IIH)
Are you feeling overwhelmed by the emotions, behaviors, and/or social struggles that your child is having? Some examples of these struggles could be ADHD, Anger, Opposition & Defiance, Fighting, Aggression, Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, Trauma, Peer Issues, Bullying, Temper Tantrums, Family Discord, School Issues Resulting in Multiple Referrals, Criminal Charges, Substance Abuse, or a combination of many things.
Opportunities for A Better Tomorrow Intensive In-Home Counseling Services provide home-based (in your home) family-focused counseling services to children, age 5 to 17. The main focus of the home-based counseling service is to reduce at-risk behaviors, while supporting the mental health needs of your child. Additionally, I provide holistic support to your family by linking you and your child with outside services that include, but are not limited to: educational, economic, vocational, medical, social, and legal services that may contribute to the stability of not only your client, but your entire family.
Through Intensive In-home Counseling, our trained and skilled Qualified Mental Health Providers teach, model, and offer counseling to your child, behavior modification, 24 hour on-call crisis intervention and response, family counseling, conflict management and resolution, and comprehensive discharge planning. While your child is in treatment, you and your family will have access to:
- Weekly Family Counseling with a Licensed or Licensed-Eligible Clinician
- Specialized treatment interventions based on your specific needs
- Meetings in your home by a Qualified Mental Health Professional 3-10 hours per week
- 24-hour on call Crisis Response and Intervention
- Goals for treatment - as constructed by the family
- Case Management - meeting with school, social services, etc
- Conflict Resolution between family members
- Community Involvement
- Comprehensive Discharge Planning, to include linking with Outpatient Therapy
