    Intensive In-Home Services (IIH)

    Are you feeling overwhelmed by the emotions, behaviors, and/or social struggles that your child is having? Some examples of these struggles could be ADHD, Anger, Opposition & Defiance, Fighting, Aggression, Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, Trauma, Peer Issues, Bullying, Temper Tantrums, Family Discord, School Issues Resulting in Multiple Referrals, Criminal Charges, Substance Abuse, or a combination of many things.

    Opportunities for A Better Tomorrow Intensive In-Home Counseling Services provide home-based (in your home) family-focused counseling services to children, age 5 to 17. The main focus of the home-based counseling service is to reduce at-risk behaviors, while supporting the mental health needs of your child. Additionally, we provide holistic support to your family by linking you and your child with outside services that include, but are not limited to: educational, economic, vocational, medical, social, and legal services that may contribute to the stability of not only your client, but your entire family.

    Through Intensive In-home Counseling, our trained and skilled Qualified Mental Health Providers teach, model, and offer counseling to your child, behavior modification, 24 hour on-call crisis intervention and response, family counseling, conflict management and resolution, and comprehensive discharge planning. While your child is in our treatment, you and your family will have access to:

    • Weekly Family Counseling with a Licensed or Licensed-Eligible Clinician
    • Specialized treatment interventions based on your specific needs
    • Meetings in your home by a Qualified Mental Health Professional 3-10 hours per week
    • 24-hour on call Crisis Response and Intervention
    • Goals for treatment – as constructed by the family
    • Case Management – meeting with school, social services, etc
    • Conflict Resolution between family members
    • Community Involvement
    • Comprehensive Discharge Planning, to include linking with Outpatient Therapy
